These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of VAT Radar ("the App"), provided by IT SOFT ARM ("we", "us") to merchants ("you") who install it from the Shopify App Store. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App monitors your Shopify store's orders and catalog for VAT/tax pattern anomalies, price changes, and catalog issues, using deterministic, store-local statistical rules, and presents findings and a compliance score inside your Shopify admin.
The App's findings and score are informational signals meant to highlight patterns worth reviewing — they are not a determination that your store is or isn't tax-compliant, and they do not constitute tax, legal, or accounting advice. You remain responsible for your store's tax compliance and should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your business.
The App is offered on a paid subscription plan with a free trial period, billed and managed entirely through Shopify's own billing system (the Shopify Billing API). We do not collect or store your payment details, and all charges, trial terms, and cancellations are handled through Shopify. You can cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the App or through your Shopify admin billing settings.
Our handling of your store's data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You agree not to use the App for any purpose that violates Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or Partner Program Agreement, or to attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App's operation.
The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including decisions made in reliance on its findings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
